I  recently  got  to  take  a tour  of  the  new  Battery  Wharf  condos  located  at  2  Battery  Wharf  in  the  North End/Waterfront area. The Residences at  Battery  Wharf  are  part  a complex  that  includes  the  Fairmont  Hotel  at  Battery  Wharf.  This  type  of  joint  venture  is  becoming  more  common  place  in  Boston,  as  luxury buildings  try  to  offer more  hotel  like  services  to  condo  owners.  The ability  to  have  food  delivered  or  multiple  restaurants  just  steps  away  is  certainly  very  convenient.  The  complex  includes  104 luxury condos  and  a 376 car  underground garage.  There  are  also  deeded  boat  slips  for  those  that  are  interested.

The  units  themselves  are  rather  impressive  and  designed  to  keep  the  feel  of  the  surrounding area.  The  model  units  showcase  what  I  would  call  nautical  chic.  They  are  the  perfect  blend  of  luxury finishes  with little  details  to  remind  you  of  the  beautiful  surrounding  area.  Each of the units  has  outdoor  space that  takes  advantage  of  the  harbor views  and  is  the  perfect  place  to  spend  a  warm  spring  or  summer  evening.  The units  range  in  size  from  900 sq. ft one  bedrooms  to  3,200 sq. ft  3  bedroom homes.  The  kitchens  feature  top of the line  appliances  and  custom  cabinets.  The  bathrooms  are  all  marble  and  many  take  advantage  of  the  view  of  the  harbor.  Designed  to  give  you  total  peace  of  mind,  in  some  units  you  can  sit  in  the  jacuzzi  tub  and  look  right  out  to  the  harbor.

Navy  Yard  33  is  one  of  the  newest  developments  located  in  the Charlestown  Navy Yard.  The  Building  is  the  latest  in  a series  of  loft  buildings  being  built  in  and  around  the  Boston  area.  The  developers  have  decided  to  keep  the  entire  building  as  rental  apartments  for  the  time being,  so  there  should  always  be  some  availability.  The  former  Navy  barracks  have  been  converted  into  a combination  of  duplex  and  single  floor  lofts.  The  single  floor  lofts  provide  a  much  greater  area  for  entertaining.  The  bedrooms  of  this  floor  plan  are  roughly  9.5  by  10  and  each  unit  has  washer  and  dryer.  The  kitchens  are  all  brand  new  stainless  steel  appliances  and  with  granite  counters  and  custom  cabinets.  If  you  like  what  you  see,  feel  free  to give  me  a  call to  setup  an  appointment. 860-463-8361 or Email Me

The  Allele  Lofts located  at  150 Dorchester Ave in  South Boston,  are  part  of  what  is  becoming  a  totally  revitalized  area.  The  Allele Lofts,  just  finished  completion  in  2008,  and  I  had  the  pleasure  of  taking  a tour  of  the  building  with  one  of  the  developers.

The  building consists  of  48  luxury loft  condos.  Each unit  features  an  expansive  10 foot  ceiling  and  has  direct  access  to  a  private  terrace  of  balcony.  The  units  also  feature  bamboo  flooring,  (I  can  tell  you  from  personally  inspection,  they’ve  done  a much  better  job  installing them  than  some  other  buildings  in  the  area.) and Caeserstone counter tops.  When  it  came  to  appliances  they  didn’t  pinch  any  pennies  there  either  and  went  with  beautiful  Bosch appliances.  Perhaps  the  most  impressive  feature  of  the  units  are  the  bathrooms.  Have  you  ever  felt  like  you  wanted  to  take  a shower  with  5  or  6 of  your  closest  friends?  Well  at  the  Allele  Lofts  you  can!  The  double  headed  showers  here  are  so  expansive,  they  can  easily  accommodate  several  people  with  room  to  spare.  In  addition  to  being  exquisitely  well  done,  the  building  also  features  an  underground  garage  with  a space  for  each  unit.

Tremont on the Common is a full service luxury condo building located on the Boston Common. This building is one of my personal favorites because of all it has to offer with residents at such resonable prices. The property has a small gym and outdoor seasonal swimming pool. The club room (available to be booked for private parties) is located right off the pool deck area. Tremont on the Common also features 24/7 security and concierge. The lobby and common areas were renovated in 2006 and the staff is always professional and courteous. The building remains one of the best priced full service condominium properties in the midtown area.

The  location  of  Tremont  on  the  Common  is  just  one  of  the  many  things  that  make  it  an  ideal  place  to  live.

The common  area  renovations  were  done  with  an  eye  for  detail  and  really  tried  to  bring  the building  up  to  par  with  other  luxury buildings  in  Boston.

The majority  of  the  kitchens  in  Tremont  on  the Common  feature  granite  counters  and  new  appliances.

The view  from  the  front  of  the  building  can not  be  beat.  From  the  upper  floors  you  see  the  Boston Common  the  Back Bay skyline  and  the  Charles River.

One  Charles  may  no  longer  be  the  newest  building  on  the  block,  but  it  is  still  without  a doubt  one of  the  nicest.  The  building  located  right  on  the  Back  Bay  and  Midtown  line,  is  a  development  done  by  Millennium  Partners,  the  same  people  who  did  the  Ritz  Condos.  The  two  towers  that  make  up  One  Charles  are  each  incredible  buildings.  The  combined  235  unit  complex  feels  much  smaller  than  it  appears  on  paper.  Each  building  has  24 hr.  concierge  that  can  help  you  with  whatever  you  might  need.  They  can  get  theatre  tickets  for  you  and  arrange  a  dinner  reservation,  or  they  can  take  care  of  your  dry  cleaning.  These  full  service  buildings  are  becoming  all  the  rage  as  of  late,  with  more  and  more  people  deciding  they want  that extra  level  service.

The  homes  at One Charles feature Brazilian Cherry Hardwood floors in a elegant Herringbone pattern, great ceiling height, and large windows which draw in fantastic sunlight. The kitchens have granite counter tops and Viking, Sub-Zero, and GE Profile appliances. The bathrooms have marble floors and elegant fixtures. Most units come with self-park garage parking. There is also a gym, board room, and library which features coffee and tea service in the mornings.

1330 Boylston

I recently had the chance to tour the brand new 1330 Boylston and boy what a building! The building is the new home, to many of the Red Sox most famous players and serves as a great luxury building literally steps to Fenway Park. Featuring 215 residential units and retail located on the first floor. Many of the units feature stunning views of Fenway and beautiful hardwood floors. The kitchen’s have all been built with top of the line materials and finishings. Large bedrooms, floor to ceiling windows, and other great features make 1330 Boylston the place to be in Fenway.
