Travel and Leisure  Magazine  have  voted  Boston  “America’s  Favorite  City”.  We  handidly  beat  down  San Francisco.  San Fran,  I  just  have  one  thing  to say  to  you,  there’s  always  next  year.  Congratulations  fellow  Bostonians  on  continuing  to  live  and  help  further  establish  Boston  as  the  best  city  in  America.

It’s  true  Coldwell  Banker  did  close  both  its  Somerville  and  Waterfront  offices.  The  story  going  around  town  is  that  the  agents  will  be  grouped  into  other  area  offices. It’s  sad  day  for  some  agents  who  have  made  their  careers  out  of  that  waterfront  office.

There  is  a  rumor  floating  around  the  internet  Coldwell  Banker  is  closing  one  of  it’s  Boston  offices(North End).  Anyone  from  Coldwell  Banker  care  to  comment?  Times  are  tough  for  real estate  professionals  right  now  and  with  another  office  closing  things  are  sure  to only  get  tougher.  If  your  interested  in  listing  your  property  in  the  North End  my  our  office  just  listed  a  property  on Battery st.  with  an  offer  on  the  unit  within   1  week.  For  more  information  on  listing  your  property  feel  free  to  contact  me.

Joe’s American  Bar and Grill  is  set  to  close according  to  the  Boston Courant. The  bar  which  has  been  a staple  of   the  Back  Bay  located  at  the  corner  of  Dartmouth st.  and  Newbury st.  will  soon  be  replaced  by  an  upscale  steakhouse.  The  decision  to  replace  Joes  with  a  steak  house  will  surely  upset  local  residents  who  have  seen  Joe’s  as  neighborhood  watering  hole  for  a  long  time.  We  will  attempt  get  a  closing  date  so  everyone  can  have  a  farewell  drink  at  Joes’s  stay  tuned!
